Over 190,000 Voters Registered in 10 Days

PHNOM PENH: According to the National Election Committee, 107,204 people registered to vote in the past 10 days – from 12 to 22 of October. From the updated list, up to 64,500 people were removed while almost 29,000 voters have their data corrected. More than 33,143 people were transferred to new communes. At the same time, the National Committee have once again invited all eligible citizens to register to vote at their local communities. The registration is open until 30 November.

The National Election Committee reinsured stresses the importance of the voter registration for a successful Sangkat Council election, which will be held on 5 June 2022.
